Shitty primeval

For all of you geezers who thought a film or television adaptation of a novel is an abridgement of the novel, I leave you with the fact it would take less time for a child to read Elmore Leonard's City Primeval than it would to watch its television adaption, Justified: City Primeval. I suspect it's much the same for 3 Body Problem.

I understand this phenomenon addresses the business and logistical concerns of television, particularly streaming television, but fingers-crossed it means more people will read in order to free up valuable time to look at their phones.
